Scout of Mind was launched in January 2018 by a group of friends who wanted to share their love of the outdoors and the great gear that gets us out there. We strive to live a life well-lived inspired by nature and the spirit of adventure.

The word “scout” is defined as “making a search for someone or something in various places” which is exactly what we aim to do. We’re of the mindset to always be looking for adventure and whatever can help us live the best lives possible, which is why we’re committed to sharing the best gear, beautiful places and delicious recipes with our readers.

Scout of Mind links to featured products when possible via Amazon and other online retailers. If you click on one of these links and purchase something, there will be no extra cost to you but we will earn a small commission.

The earnings from affiliate links contribute to our ability to produce editorial work and fund this website and the continued creation of content. We only recommend products we use and enjoy. Thank you for supporting us and helping keep the lights on at Scout HQ.
